El correspondiente post de Arcade Fire de la semana corresponde a 3 covers realizado por la banda en recientes conciertos en Alexandra Palace, London, UK 11.17.07 y Copenhagen KB Hallen, DK 11.07.07. Los “covereados” son The Clash, New Order & Violent Femmes.
La versión de Violent Femmes es diferente (más lenta) a la primera que se escuchó en el concierto en Randall’s Island.

So, we’ve got:

- The leak of the Arcade Fire & LCD Soundsystem Split 7” EP with the studio version of Poupee de Cire Poupee de Son
- The awesome reviews of the concert @ Randall’s Island this October 6th.
- The “fan-cellphone” video of the cover of Violent Femmes’ Kiss Of at the end of the concert
….and official annoucements at arcadefire.com: TOUR IS OVER (at least in USA)…. the band won’t be playing for a “couple of years” in order to concentrate in real life, writting, living.
For sure it has been a GREAT year for the band.
