Despite of the crappy sound quality, and Shakira, Beyonce & Clarkson’s squirrel voices, people were “happy” but in denial, expecting this would be some kind of early pre-recorded stuff.

Finally, Gregg sent a message @ myspace:

Ok, esta mañana se filtró el nuevo de Girl Talk “Feed the Animals”
A pesar de la mala calidad de audio y las voces de ardillas de Shakira, Beyonce y la Clarkson, muchos estaban “felices” del disco pero en un estado de negación esperando que esto fuese un material no acabado.

Finalmente, Gregg envió un mensaje en su myspace, esta sería la traducción:
“Queridos amigos de Myspace,
Está el rumor que mi próximo álbum se filtró hoy, eso no es cierto. el disco no está terminado.
Estoy trabajando en él todos los días y uds. lo escucharán pronto.

Lo nuevo de Modest Mouse, con la canción “Dashboard”….mmm, me suena a Franz Ferdinand – Via: My Old Kentucky Blog.

Lo Nuevo de Damon Albarn, The Good, The Bad, The Ugly, con la canción “History Song“ – Via: I Rock Cleveland.

Lo Nuevo de Bright Eyes, del álbum Casaadaga, la canción “Endless Entertainment “. – Via: Stereogum

Girl Talk – Night Ripper: Este disco llegó a mi luego de ciertos reviews…. no le doy un post completo porque no es mi estilo este tipo de música, solo me parece curioso… Es el DJ puki, puki, extremo, entre puros yo yo yo yeah give it to me, do it, do it, … con smashes y sampleos de canciones de Nine Inch Nails, Oasis, The Verve, MIA, Mariah, Gwen Stefani, Smashing Pumpkins, Pixies, Eminem, Daft Punk Paula Abdul, Kid Rock y hasta NEUTRAL MILK HOTEL, en fin esto es la hora loca gringa de las frat parties. 40 min para escucharlo non stop en parties, pero que curiosamente recibió muy buenas críticas el año pasado… no se por qué razón todavía permanece como si nada en mi compu…. Ah claro para adivinar las canciones que samplea…..

Películas:

Aprovechando la época pre-Oscar, han salido por ahí varios screeners (no me vengan con la doble moral, estas son las copias de evaluación, for your consideration, para las nominaciones, salen de la industria). Son de buena calidad (claro, nada como el cine obviamente), por lo que he tenido el gusto de ver: Little Children y Rocky Balboa, en cola Bobby, Flag of Our Fathers y Pan’s Laberynth.

Y el gran rumor… Johnny Depp en el papel de Freddie Mercury?????

Girl Talk – Night Ripper: This record came to by accident…. I don’t give it a complete post because this is not the kina of music I listen to… it was a curiosity… This record is the classic DJ full of smashes and simples of songs from Oasis, The Verve, MIA, Mariah, Gwen Stefani, Smashing Pumpkins, Pixies, Eminem, Daft Punk Paula Abdul, Kid Rock and NEUTRAL MILK HOTEL. Anyway, 40 minutes of electronic non stop music for your parties, curiously this album received great reviews last year… I don’t why I keep it in my computer…. Of course, guess all the songs.

Movies:

This is Movie Awards season, there’re several “torrent” screeners (for your consideration). Good quality, obviously isn’t compare to the movies. Anyway, I had the chance to watch: Little Children, Pan’s Laberynth and Rocky Balboa, on hold….. Bobby and Flag of Our Fathers.
