Sexto álbum de Spoon, todavía a un mes de su lanzamiento oficial, pero he aquí las primeras impresiones:

- Para nada distante del sonido del Gimme Fiction del 2005, sin embargo no es su segunda parte.

- En la primera escucha no me llamó mucho la atención, pero considero que es de esos trabajos que se vuelve mejor cada vez que lo escuchas y te dejas llevar.

Canciones que debes escuchar primero:
- You Got Yr. Cherry Boom, que posiblemente es una de las mejores del disco entre otros hits que cuenta el álbum. Alta rotación.

- Y The Underdog que fue producido por Jon Brion y con eso es suficiente para convencerte del potencial del álbum.

- Estilo de Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga:
Canciones “easy-going” “easy-listening”, palmadas, coros pegajosos, guiños a The Way be Get By, Sister Jack y una que otra canción lenta como The Ghost Of You Lingers, si he de afirmar que Spoon tiene su propio estilo entonces este disco suena a Spoon.

- Puntos en su contra el título Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga y uno que otra canción que digamos es de relleno.

- Rating: 8 de 10.

Spoon’s sixth album, here there are my first impressions:

- Spoon keeps the same rhythm of 2005’s Gimme Fiction, but this album is not version 2.0

- The first time I didn’t care about the album, I thought it was another one of the list… but I have to confess this is a grower, it just get better every time I listen.

Songs you have to listen first:
- You Got Yr. Cherry Boom, probably the best song of the album. It’s in high rotation in my mind.

- and The Underdog, song that was produced by Jon Brion, and I think that is enough to convince you.

- Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga Style:
Easy-going, easy-listening songs, clap of hands, nice chorus, winks to songs such as The Way be Get By, Sister Jack and one or two slow song like The Ghost Of You Lingers. If Spoon has its own style, so this album sounds “Spoon-esque”

- The Bad: The title: Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga and one or two songs that I think were made to fill the album.

- Rating: 8 out of 10.
