2:00 PM: Chat with a Lollapalooza veteran friend about the tickets… she said to me: Vergación!!!! (some kind of WTF!! or Yikes!!! in Venezuela)

3:00 PM: Everybody is excited about Portishead’s Third leak.
Probably this is the feeling I’ll get when Chinese Democracy leaks…. lol!!

10:30 AM - 12:00 PM: Los Golden Tickets de 60$ del Lollapalooza se vendieron aproximadamente en 5, quizás 10 minutos….. ni modo

2:00 PM: Chateo con una amiga veterana de Lollapalooza sobre los tickets…. ella me responde: Vergación!!!!

3:00 PM: Todo están emocionados con el leak del Third de Portishead.
Probablemente ese sentimiento es el que tendré cuando salga el Chinese Democracy…. lol!!

3:40 PM: Chateo con un Music Slut… no sabemos si el “corte” al final de la canción Silence es a propósito o sólo un mal rip.

Es de extrañar cuando comentan algo sobre Venezuela en el exterior que no sean las recurrentes noticias de la coyuntura nacional.
Recientemente (y obviando el speech de Hugo en la ONU, el cual la prensa internacional hizo eco de la situación por un buen tiempo) fue el sketch que sacó la gente de Saturday Night Live sobre Chávez, ya comentado en Miniplug.TV.
Ahora me tomó por sorpresa (en el buen sentido de la palabra) ver esto en el blog de música Idolator. En este colocan un chiste sobre el playlist musical de Chávez (incluyendo canciones de Beyonce, Gwen Stefani, etc) con sus explicaciones al mejor estilo de la izquierda, anti-imperialista, messma (posiblemente muchos no entiendan de primera porque considera chistes internos gringos). Ya les escribiré a la gente de Idolator a ver si lo sacaron de alguna fuente o lo hicieron ellos.

Not, I’m not talking about the band Chavez. This time is about the president of my country, recently the people from Idolator made a post joking about the Musical Playlist of Hugo Chavez (president), it took me by surprise (in a funny way) because we usually don’t read in international journals anything about this country but the current news.
