Deaf Indie Elephants

Vemeko told me about these 3 guys C4 Trío last year. I had the pleasure yesterday to watch them live. OMG, what a nice experience, it’s really amazing the way they play the cuatro and how many music styles they can do with this instrument: samba, jazz, venezuelan folklore and more. With a little bit of geniality and complicity, wich make the band unique, this guys can make a wonderful and extraordinary performance, just a special night.

Vemeko “pichó” en su oportunidad el disco debut de estos 3 jóvenes cuatristas C4 Trío, por suerte ayer tuve la grata experiencia de verlos en vivo. Cuanto virtuosismo, cuanta destreza, increible todo lo que pueden hacer estos muchachos con el cuatro pasando por distintas influencias rítmicas: jazz, samba, folklore venezolano, además de incluir cierto toque de genialidad y complicidad que los hace únicos, su calidez en escena hicieron la velada muy especial.

Estos son los momentos en que las palabras pierden sentido, asi que dejemos los cuatros hablar por si solos. A continuación un video (amateur mio) de la presentación de ayer. No le pierdan la pista a estos jóvenes!
