The Arcade Fire de una forma bien original hace uso de la internet para promover su nuevo álbum y bien que ha vuelto loco a más de uno:
1.- Abren una página web con el nombre de su próximo disco Neon Bible con un número que al llamar se puede escuchar una de las canciones, a su vez en la Radio 1 de la BBC de Londres emiten por primera vez dicha canción.
2.- Para obra benéfica venden en iTunes ese single… pero por un “error” suben otra canción. Se debate en foros, y hacen anuncio oficial al dar detalles del uso de MySpace para hacer el corte final del álbum.
3.- En 5 minutos se agotan completamente las entradas para los 5 shows de la banda pautados en Nueva York.
4.- El viernes anuncian el primer single del disco, el cual será Black Mirror se puede escuchar en stream… (se puede descargar en los foros oficiales o en ateaseweb)

5.- Hoy sin dar respiro alguno lanzan por youtube un video “freak” del guitarrista de la banda anunciando fecha oficial de lanzamiento 5 y 6 de Marzo, tracklist y un avance de las canciones. El manager de la banda anuncia que dicho video no es ningún fake.

PD: 2007 año de The Arcade Fire… pero al ser fanático esta opinión pierde totalmente objetividad….. Finalmente llegaron a colocar No Cars Go para este álbum.

The Arcade Fire is promoting their upcoming album in an original way using the benefits of the internet… and everybody is going crazy about it.
1.- They opened a website with the name of the album and a “hotline” where you can listen the single Intervention, at the same time BBC’s Radio 1 released that single for the first time.
2.- They sold Intervention single on iTunes for charity… but by “mistake” they uploaded another new song. Start the debates on the forums and then the band made an official announcement telling how they used MySpace in order to make the final tracklist for Neon Bible.
3.- In 5 minutes they sold out the tickets for the 5 shows in New York City.
4.- This friday, they announced the official first single named Black Mirror, you can listen the song in the site (and download it at ateaseweb)

5.- The final strike was today, they unleashed in youtube a “freak” video from the guitarist of the band announcing the release date (5th and 6th of March), tracklist and you can listen a little bit of the songs. The manager said that video isn’t fake.
