Before Broken Social Scene, Kevin Drew with Charles Spearin formed K.C. Accidental. I knew about this band but I’ve never listened any of its songs. It was hard but finally I found them and listened them… great!, totally instrumental ala Broken Social Scene (obviously)

The funny part is that both albums can be considered as one whole work because the first one Captured Anthems for an Empty Bathtub has 12 tracks but the second half has “silent tracks”, and the next album Anthems for the Could’ve Bin Pills has 12 tracks but the first half has……. yep, silent tracks

It’s a shame both albums are “sold out”, “out of stock”, “unavailable”… for that reason I’m going to upload them because I’m not going to pay 90$ for each one (as seen on amazon)

Antes que existiera Broken Social Scene, Kevin Drew junto con Charles Spearin crearon una banda llamada K.C. Accidental. Conocía la referencia pero hasta el momento no había escuchado ninguno de sus discos, por suerte dificilmente los encontré y son una maravilla, totalmente instrumentales (al estilo BSS obviamente).

Lo curioso es que los 2 discos pueden ser considerados EPs y formar un solo álbum en vista que el 1ro: Captured Anthems for an Empty Bathtub tiene 12 temas pero los 6 últimos son tracks en silencio, en cambio el 2do: Anthems for the Could’ve Bin Pills igualmente tiene 12 temas pero los primeros 6 no tienen nada

Es una pena que en la página de la disquera salga Out of Stock y el otro Unavailable.. por esa razón tomo el abuso de publicarlos porque no pienso pagar 90$ por lo que cuesta en amazon.
