Since their EP I’ve always compared them to Arctics Monkeys: Buzz Band, young guys, and a lot of catchy songs.

Even though I think there’s a lot of hype around them, all of this fade out when I start to listen their album debut Vampire Weekend… damn it!! every song from this cd is a potential hit/single/whatever, they know it, you know it.. and that’s the formula. I still believe they will be big this year… let’s hope they can exceed expectation & hype.

So, to promote their cd they did a Take Away Show episode from La Blogotheque, after the jump the mp3s.

Desde que salió su EP siempre los comparé (salvando las diferencias de estilo) con Arctics Monkeys: jóvenes, mucho buzz en internet, y varias canciones pegajosas en sus mangas.

Todavía mantengo que hay mucho hype a su alrededor, pero todo esto se desvanece cuando empieza a sonar las primeras notas de su álbum debut Vampire Weekend. Por Dios!!! cualquier canción de ese CD es un hit/single potencial, ellos lo saben y tu también lo sabes, y con esas notas y coros pegajosos han encontrado la fórmula. Ellos serán grande este año, sólo espero que puedan ir más allá de las expectativas y el hype.

Con motivos de promoción la banda hizo una presentación en un nuevo episodio del Take Away Show de La Blogotheque. Para su disfrute.
