There are moments when the cinema takes me by surprise, more than gives us stories of social contents or leaves us with a smile, when it comes to ART is the moment when I really enjoy it.

Paris Je T’aime is a project really beautiful and interesting that left me with a good sensation, several directors were chosen in order to create 18 short films with a subject in common: Paris and love.

For that reason, this is not really a movie (because every short film doesn’t have any connection with other), in fact this work compiles the way every director interprets the love in that city: the love of a couple, mothers, strangers, boyfriends, gays, lesbians, vampires and the love to Paris.

Some of the directors are: The Coen brothers, Wes Craven, Gus Van Sant, Alfonso Cuarón, Gérard Depardieu, Sylvain Chomet, Alexander Payne among others.

Anyway, there are clips that I didn’t like and others that are GREAT, but overall the excellent quality of the stories made this project an enjoyable experience. Highly recommended, by the way the end has a song played by Feist.

Hay momentos que el cine me toma por sorpresa, más allá de presentarnos historias de contenido social que nos haga cuestionar ó simplemente pasar un momento de risas, cuando se presenta como arte es que más lo disfruto y agradezco.

Paris Je T’aime es un proyecto bien simpático que me dejó buen sabor, varios directores fueron seleccionados para realizar 18 cortometrajes donde cada uno diera su visión sobre un tema en común, este sería: París y el amor.

Es por ello, que más que tomarlo como una película (porque en realidad ningún corto tiene relación con el otro), este trabajo compila la forma como estos directores ven el amor en esta ciudad: el amor de esposos, desconocidos, madres, novios, gays, lesbianas, vampiros y el amor a París.

Entre los directores se encuentran: Los Hermanos Coen, Wes Craven, Gus Van Sant, Alfonso Cuarón, Gérard Depardieu, Sylvain Chomet, Alexander Payne entre otros

En fin, como todo, hay algunos clips que no me gustaron, aquí es donde unos compensan a los otros, pero en general la alta calidad de las historias y la carga “emocional” en ellas hace que uno se olvide y disfrute a plenitud el film, se las recomiendo totalmente, por cierto el final incluye fondo musical de Feist
