The Velvet Underground’s classic song written by Lou Reed: Venus in Furs, according to wikipedia, this song was inspired by Leopold von Sacher-Masoch’s book of the same name, which refers to sado-masochism, fetishes and bondage.
In fact, the term masochism is derived from this novelist; his book “Venus in Furs” is one of his famous novels.

So weird you’d post this today. I listened to this song on repeat continually all weekend. So good. Maybe the best song to just chill out a listen to while you’re in an altered state.
