La Shortlist Organization anunció los nominados para la sexta edición del Shortlist Music Prize, este premio que reconoce los mejores álbumes lanzados en EEUU en el 2006 y que no han llegado a vender más de 500.000 unidades.
En abril serán anunciados 10 finalistas, y el ganador en primavera.
Antiguos ganadores de este premio son: Sigur Ros, NERD, Damien Rice, TV on the Radio y Sufjan Stevens.

The Shortlist Organization announced the nominees for the sixth annual Shortlist Music Prize, an award that recognizes the best albums released in the US in 2006 and that have sold less than 500,000 units.
In April will be announced the Top Ten Finalists, and the winner later in the spring.
