No Promises viene a ser la continuación del aclamado Quelqu’un M’a Dit del 2002. Es un alivio saber que Carla no cambió su estilo al querer incursionar en el mercado anglosajón, este disco suena totalmente a la Bruni de siempre, hasta su inglés suena francés. Duh!!!

Eso si, aclaremos algo…. Superar el disco anterior iba ser bien difícil y con este no lo logra pero mantiene la esencia, por no decir que suena exactamente al anterior pero en inglés.

No tengo más que acotar sino recalcar que si te gustó Quelqu’un M’a Dit pues escucha este que junto a un café, en un domingo y con Befote Sunset de película estás hecho….y si llueve pues es un plus.

No Promises is the follow-up of the acclaimed Quelqu’un M’a Dit from 2002. It’s good to know that Carla didn’t change her style when she decided to enter to the American music industry. This album sounds totally Bruni, even her English sounds French.

Let’s get this clear, it’s difficult to exceed Quelqu’un M’a Dit…. and No Promises couldn’t do it, but at least it keeps the sound of the first album… only that is in English.

If you liked Quelqu’un M’a Dit, you’ll enjoy this one…. recommended on a Sunday, with coffee, with Before Sunset movie…. and if it’s raining, much better!!
