Almodovar’s Hable con Ella
6 08 2006This is the last post about Almodovar’s films. “Hable con Ella” is my favorite. All about this movie is great, the music, the scenes, the story.
About the music, I have two instrumental songs, very beautiful. I don’t remember which parts of the movie correspond…. anyway, these songs are very flamenco-style, with their guitars “a la” Paco de Lucia.
But, the scene to remember is when Caetano Veloso is singing Cucurrucucú Paloma in front of all the actors and actresses from prior Almodovar’s films. Excellent!!!

PS: yeap, I’m done with Almodovar….haha.

You’re done? maybe you must do a Almodovar’s week
Probably Hable con Ella rebirth Cucurrucucu Paloma (jajajaja… is hard to write it) and put the song in the radar (again)… suddenly many people talk about the film and comment the Beloso performance.
I like the movie… so much. Even when is less disturbing than Todo sobre mi Madre… i think… is less disturbing???
By the way, A&E will transmit a Almodovar film this saturday 10 pm: Tacones Lejanos… you saw it??? is the one with Miguel Bose doing a travesti/drag quenn roll.
I prefer Los bingueros or Vota Gundisalvo
I always wanted to see this movie, It seems really nice. BTW i watched PB it was awesome. Now i am downloading the first season of weeds to take a look.
